Our local public libraries give us an AMAZING trove of tools and ideas to enrich our students’ learning experience! This week we are highlighting two electronic resources available via East Albemarle Regional Libraries. Your Media Coordinator can help you and your students obtain an electronic library account without leaving school. Click on the icon to access The EARLibrary homepage.
Did you know that you can regularly share ideas with your Dare County Schools colleagues on Twitter? On the second Monday of each month from 7:30-8:00 pm drop in by searching #DCSchat. Questions will be posted at 7:30 with everyone chiming in (or just following along) for the next 30 minutes! Learn more about #DCSchat and get tips on how to follow a Twitter chat by checking our this infographic: #DCSchatPiktochart
NC Kids Digital Library has over 5,000 eBooks for preschoolers through Grade 4. Over 1,000 of these can be borrowed by more than one user at the same time. (Look for the Never-Ending Reading shelf for these titles.) Access with your 14-digit East Albemarle Regional Library Card barcode and library-assigned PIN.
Are you having a technical issue? Someone else may also have the same issue. Please use the Mojo Helpdesk to contact the Dare County Schools Tech Team. Simply open the icon under your waffle that appears in the upper right hand corner of your DCS email and submit a help ticket. This will streamline technical assistance within the county.

You can find more information on the mandate by clicking here:
Welcome to our Kyte Challenge! Each week in Media Weekly we will highlight a Kyte Learning course. You (alone or with colleagues) can learn a new skill a week while you add up CEU credits!
It's easy to use and a great way to get one on one feedback for student comprehension. Click on the Kyte link and use your DCS login and password.
