To commemorate the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein our Library of Congress will host "Frankenreads" a public read-a-thon of the novel Frankenstein in its entirety on October 31.
The "Frankenreads" will be live-streamed on the Library's YouTube site at youtube.com/LibraryOfCongress. Follow it at @Events_LOC and #Frankenreads.
Frankenstein is available on Overdrive through Project Gutenberg, so everyone can read it at the same time. Want to just read some excerpts? The folks at One Book, Many Conversations helped choose the following recommended selections:
