As we enter The Jeffrey Foundation’s 49th year of serving children with special needs and their families, we are mindful of our many blessings.
First and foremost, we appreciate all of you — our Circle of Love, Donors, Volunteers, staff, and all our Foundation friends. We could not have made it through our 49 years without you!
In 2020, the world faced one of its most challenging health crises—the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, many children, families, businesses, charities, educational organizations, and other entities have suffered emotionally, physically, spiritually, and financially. We are so grateful that with all the restrictions and safety measures currently in place for COVID 19, the Foundation has continued providing services to our children with special needs.
However, the pandemic has made it necessary to reassess how we operate. As a result, our programs and services have undergone and will continue to undergo many changes to keep our doors open. We now ask for your assistance in helping us restart our programs as restrictions allow. Our next planned reopening will be for our Toddlers in early January 2021. Creating socially distanced spaces where the children can receive services is of utmost importance, and we hope you can help us. We require over $50,000.00 for operating expenses to keep us moving forward, and any donation you can make would be much appreciated.
Please pass along this newsletter and share with your family, friends, and in your social media feeds, letting folks know they can DONATE to our programs by calling 323-965-7536 or mailing a check to The Jeffrey Foundation, 5470 W. Washington Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90016. Donations can also be made online at TheJeffreyFoundation.org and SpecialChildUSA.org.
We wish you a blessed Holiday Season and a joyous Happy New Year 2021 filled with the love of friends and family, health, and prosperity.
