In a Fool's Kitchen
"Bursts at the seams with wild energy, creative genius, and sheer fun!"
- Minnesota History Center
Award-winning, nationally touring Z Puppets Rosenschnoz present a family-friendly comedy, A La Carte: In a Fool’s Kitchen.
Like a live action Looney Tunes cartoon, A La Carte is a comic battle between Le Chef Profesional and a wily lobster set to live accordion music.
A La Carte is a playfully interactive comedy featuring clowning, puppetry, music, and a few unruly vegetables.
“Z Puppets Rosenschnoz is Muppet-Class”
- Austin Daily Herald
A LA CARTE begins as the Chef sets the table for the Grand Opening of his 2-seat café. Before the Chef can dazzle his very important guests (carefully sourced from the audience), dinner’s main ingredient stages a rebellion — again and again and again. Who knew crustaceans could cook up such delicious mischief?
Z Puppets has performed this show at outdoor festivals and performing arts centers across the country, such as the Minnesota State Fair, Long Island Children’s Museum, Smoky Hill River Arts Festival, Minneapolis Art Institute, Sioux Falls First Night, Cincinnatti Playhouse in the Park, and National Puppetry Festival.
We are happy to say that each time we perform we cause children to squeal with fits of laughter and adults to gleefully revert into child-like states of goofy innocence.
