In order to maintain communication between schools, parents and students, Lawrence Township Schools offers a service called Skyward Family / Student Access. All Middle and High School students have separate logins to Skyward (Student Access) from their parents (Family Access). Although both Family and Student Access are similar, they are not the same. Students and parents should use their own login information to access Skyward. The link to Skyward Student Access can be found on the District website (www.ltschools.org).

How do parents gain access?
Parents may visit www.ltschools.org and navigate to the parent section at the top of the page. There you will find a link to apply for a Family Access username and password. You only need fill out one application regardless of how many students you have in the district. Once you have completed the application, your user-name and password will be delivered to you through the mail.
How do students gain access? (MS & HS only)
Students may visit www.ltschools.org and navigate to the students section at the top of the page. There you will find a link to Skyward. Student user name and password for skyward is the same as the network log-in. For more information regarding student passwords, please contact your building technician.

Once I start using Skyward Family & Student Access, how soon will teachers be expected to have assignments graded? Teachers are required to update grades every two weeks.
Who will be allowed access to my child’s information via Skyward Family & Student Access? Security of student data is a high priority for MSDLT. Only a Parent or Guardian listed in Skyward will be given access. You will be expected to keep your user-name and password private and secure. Do not let other persons use your login account to access the system.
Do I have to apply each year, or is my login information good from one year to the next? Your user-name and password are good for every year your student(s) are enrolled in LT Schools. If you have children at other schools in the district, you do not need another user-name and do not have to reapply to access data for those children.
Do I need a different password if I have students at different schools in the district? No. Your user-name and password will allow access to information about all of your students.
I have children at more than one school in the district. I can see my child at the Middle School, but I can't see the information regarding my children at other schools. Check the drop-down menu at the upper left of the screen. If any student's name is missing, you should contact the student’s school.
I have forgotten my password and/or username. How do I get another one?
Follow the Forgot Your Login/Password from the Skyward homepage; the email you provide must match the email listed in Skyward. If this process doesn’t work go to http://www.ltschools.org/portal/parents and use the link on that page to request a new password.
Where can we use this system if we do not have Internet access at home or work? You can use the Public library or any campus library. Several churches in the area have computers for public use as well.
