They were ten finalists coming from the Philippines that included 20 people in total so we made up two tables of 10. They were TaskUs Incorporated, Takeda Healthcare Philippines Inc., South Cotabato Integrated Port Services, Inc., Max’s Kitchen Inc., City Government of Tanauan, Watsons Personal Care Stores Philippines, Lyceum of the Philippines University, Cavite, Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Bounty, and St. Luke’s Medical Center, Global City. Out of the ten finalists, IiP Philippines accredited organizations won four awards, Silver Employer of the Year (5,000+) Award from TaskUs Incorporated, Excellence in Reward and Recognition (500+) Award from Max’s Kitchen Inc., Best Newcomer (500+) Award from Watsons Personal Care Stores Philippines, and Silver Employer of the Year (50-249) Award from Lyceum of the Philippines University, Cavite.
Before the event, the Philippine finalists visited the Investors in People Head Office in Buckingham Palace Road. They attended the IiP International Licencees’ conference, where they were the stars of a round table discussion.
The awards was themed Winter Wonderland. Everyone was dressed to the nines looking glamorous and creative with their own take of a Winter Wonderland. The investors in People invited celebrities and top entertainers that made the evening festive and lively. It was attended by more than 800 guest mix of large private and public sector, with representatives, senior HR professionals, and CEOs from a wide range of industries from all over the world.
The fun didn't end there. The next day, IiP Philippines finalists travelled to Derbyshire, hometown of our IiP chairperson, Janet Webster. The delegates toured Derbyshire during the day. At night, Janet hosted a dinner party at her own residence and surprised her guests with her own home cooked adobo. One of her guest who joined the party is the Head of Investors in People International, David Dale. The finalists certainly had a wonderland adventure and made their stay in the UK worthwhile.
This year, we hope to have more than ten finalists to share this amazing experience. Get your pens out and start writing! We look forward to submitting your entries!
