Leadership in technology is important for success in schools. Many of our leaders have completed The EdTech Level One and/or Level Two Certifications. Here is what they have to say!
"The certifications and endorsement opens up so many opportunities to enhance instruction in the classrooms and gives educators the freedom to be creative within their curriculum. A bonus with the certifications and endorsements is that it can count towards a Master’s Degree and lane changes. Finally, the collaboration with other colleagues throughout the classes was a great resource and the instructors of the courses are knowledgeable about the resources and are able to guide the instruction for any skill level.
Sandy Lecheminant Assistant Principal, Albion Middle School
Ed Tech is important to incorporate into our schools as students are digital natives. They are exposed to more and more technology and for most businesses, being able to use technology is a basic literacy skill. Appropriate use of technology can enhance all curricular areas including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. I really love that I can go back and reference the courses as needed on CANVAS. Lori Jones, Principal, Oakdale Elementary School.
It was a great refresher and I learned a number of shortcuts and tips along the way. This made the learning much more efficient and effective. With this certification, I was able to customize my learning in ways that made sense for my role and interests. I was able to speak knowledgeably with teachers as they develop classroom practices and curriculum with tech tools in mind.
